The Palma Sola Scenic Highway Corridor Management Entity (CME) meets quarterly to discuss ways to enhance Palma Sola Scenic Highway that encompasses S.R. 64 West/Manatee Avenue West from East Bay Drive in Holmes Beach to 75th Street West in Bradenton.
This first Saturday after Labor Day each September celebrates the theme of “Keep America Bee-utiful” by planting pollinators, in addition to native species.
Join us for a special evening to honor those who are making a positive difference in Manatee County’s quality of life. You will enjoy our awards ceremony, a keynote address, live tropical music, a wonderful dinner and a cash bar.

This fun family event draws attention to the natural beauty of our beaches. Held on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico at Manatee Public Beach on Anna Maria Island, amateur teams in school and adult divisions compete in a sand sculpture competition and raise funds to support Keep Manatee Beautiful’s programs. Learn the “Tips, Tricks and Techniques” of sand sculpture at free clinics taught by master sculptors Team Sandtastic from 5 to 6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, while the competition is 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
