2017 Awards Celebration now on September 26

The celebration recognizes exceptional volunteer efforts in litter prevention, recycling and beautification throughout Manatee County.

More than 20 nomination categories will be awarded and include schools, neighborhood communities, individuals, youth organizations, media, businesses, governments and environmental law compliance.  At the Awards Celebration re-scheduled to be on September 26, 2017, awards will be presented for public service, recycling, landscaping image, green schools and outstanding volunteerism.

The annual celebration honors award recipients with an enjoyable evening that includes dinner and a cash bar held at the IMG Academy Golf Club.  In addition to the awards presentations, the highlight of the evening is a keynote address from Mayor Shirley Groover Bryant about her “Passion for Palmetto”.  Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with the celebration’s sponsors, who join Keep Manatee Beautiful in recognizing the award recipients.

People have shown appreciation for others by nominating a special someone or group for going above and beyond for an award.  The recognition fosters goodwill and the continued participation of those who give of themselves to help keep our community and environment beautiful and safe.

Please RSVP, if planning to attend.  Payment can be made in September at the Awards Celebration or online. For more information, e-mail us at keep@manateebeautiful.com or call (941) 795-8272.
