Sand Sculpting Contest

Check-in 8 a.m.
Sculpting 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Judging 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Awards 2 p.m.

Elementary-Middle School or High School-Adult

Sand Plots

$300 entry fee with up to 15 members per team. Collect $20 from each team member to pay the entry fee, OR contact a local business or organization and ask them to sponsor your team. If you need help with finding a sponsor, call Keep Manatee Beautiful.

Each 15′ x 15′ plot will be mounded with sand prior to the event.
Bring spades, shovels, buckets and trowels to create your winning sculpture.

Learn the “Tips, Tricks and Techniques” of sand sculpture taught by master sculptors Team Sandtastic on Thursday and Friday, November 2 and 3 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
